Privacy policy
This policy describes which personal data are processed when you visit this website and when you get in touch. It is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. In brief
- This website does not set cookies.
- There are no analytics or tracking tools and no advertising. Visitor numbers come only from the server’s access logs (section 4).
- No third-party content is embedded. The typeface is served from this site’s own server; no data are sent to Google.
- Data are processed only because the site has to be delivered technically (hosting), and when you get in touch yourself.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit it, IONOS processes the data that are technically required to deliver the site and protect it against misuse: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the referring page.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure and stable provision of the website. Processing takes place in the EU. A data processing agreement is in place with IONOS. IONOS stores the IP address in the access logs in anonymised form; the logs are deleted after eight weeks at the latest.
4. Visitor statistics without cookies
I evaluate the access logs only in aggregated form, to see reach, missing pages and access by automated programs, for example how many visitors a page had and how they arrived. Only daily counts are stored. Nothing is attributed to individual persons, and with the anonymised addresses this is not possible. No user profiles are created and no data are combined across different websites. I do not use cookies, analytics scripts or third-party tracking pixels.
When you click the link to email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn, the page requests an empty file from this server once (/ziel/email.txt, /ziel/whatsapp.txt or /ziel/linkedin.txt). This request appears in the access log like any other and is only counted so that I can see how often people get in touch. No data are sent to third parties.
The evaluation runs automatically on GitHub Actions (GitHub, Inc., USA). Only the anonymised logs are processed and only the counts are stored. GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A service provider is commissioned with the technical maintenance of the website and the evaluation, under a data processing agreement. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is improving the website and detecting errors.
5. Getting in touch
If you contact me by email, phone, WhatsApp or LinkedIn, I process the information you provide (such as your name, contact details and your request) in order to answer your enquiry and arrange a first conversation.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the contact concerns taking up coaching, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your data are deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Emails are processed by IONOS SE (see section 3).
For WhatsApp, the site links to wa.me. Data are transferred to WhatsApp only when you click the link and send a message (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Ireland, a Meta company). WhatsApp then processes your phone number, your messages and metadata; a transfer to Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA is possible and is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies. If you do not want this, please use email or phone.
The site links to Helmuth Obilcnik’s LinkedIn profile. Only when you click the link are you taken to LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company), where LinkedIn’s privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es.
7. No automated decisions
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
